When we had water, old Thurgood kept his pigs in there. Pigs need water. When you don't have water, you can't have pigs.

If the doctor ever gives you a week to live, you should come on out to Big Stink. Out here, a week can seem like forever.

That's Mable. She's spending a little time out back of Doc Parker's place. She's not sure whether she's going home or going to the meat plant. I'm not sure either. I'm hoping she's going home. I like Mable.

You'll find those two down past the railroad tracks by the old granary. They're thick as thieves. You'll never see one without the other.

That's the old furniture store downtown. It's closed up too. If you need some peace and quiet in Big Stink, downtown is a good place to find it.

That's the hardware store. If Buckley and Welch don't have what your looking for, you don't need it. I reckon Sam Walton is going to try and run that place out of business some day. That would be a shame. Have you ever tried to find a good hammer at Walmart?

That's the old warehouse. Things have slowed down since they moved the tracks. The lizards and snakes are staying busy though. They always have something to do.
