That's where they keep the cotton. Some folks think all we do out here in Big Stink is grow corn and wheat but they're wrong. We grow all kinds of things out here. As long as we get some rain once in awhile we can grow just about anything we like. You can say what you want about Big Stink but you can't say we don't have good dirt.

Sometimes you have to hit things down by the rail road tracks. When you do you need a big hammer because you have to hit them hard.

That's the old Maytag store on Main Street. Folks stopped buying new washing machines around here some time ago.

That's my dog Pooter. Her hips aren't so good anymore. She has a lot of miles on them. Behind her is the train. The train is just fine.

Some folks take their girlfriends down to that old bridge. I don't have a girlfriend so I take my dog.
